Untitled by Cindy Dall came out in 1996. It has artwork of a Chinese goddess on the cover. It sounds like a Smog record but with a girl singing instead. Untitled has a lot of distortion and Cindy does not articulate words clearly so it's hard to make out a lot of the lyrics. You can find some interesting stories about Cindy in Lisa Carver’s book Drugs Are Nice.
Christmas (California) is about what someone should buy Cindy for Christmas to show they really love her, and then how she should have thought about what she was buying the man because he was good at crying when he didn't get what he wanted. This implies she had been lying to Bill about loving him and he got upset.
Berlin 1945 is about how a woman hates her body and the man hates her body too. It seems to say she has “bad bones”. Lion Becomes Dragon has sometihng about “your druthers” which means what you’d rather do. In Chinese mythology lions can become dragons.
Holland features Bill singing. Cindy sings she checks if Bill is dead but he’s breathing, and its been 7 hours and they haven’t left the house. Cindy sings “The sun still shines it doesn’t know you’re dying” and Bill sings “where is he now, where is he now? If he were here he could stop up the dam with one finger.” So he is jealous of the man she has the affair with but I don’t know why it refers to this Holand story about the boy stopping up the dike with his finger.
Grey And Castles also features Bill singing “Why aren’t you going back to the land of grey and castles, you’d be there… one stop closer to being successful now that you're staying here I have to do it all by myself carrie said the girl you left behind was playing you for a chump she’d write you long letters another way to hear herself talk, overseas cock tease now you’ll have to prove we can be all by ourselves , in your little boy room… your sister sits in her glass nest sipping an inch of chocolate milk for hours guess it was just too much for her to prove all by herself your never going back to the land of grey and castles because you’d much rather die than part with the things we fought to leave behind.” This seems to be about Bill's family and how he used to live in the UK in the Cold War. It sounds like Bill was considering going back to the UK, but then he won’t go back there because he does not actually want to part with things he thought he wanted to part with.
Aaron Matthew features an angel who hopes she can protect someone in Heaven. “My white wings span your skies....The gold in your hair comes from my wings....My biggest fear is that my wings will block out your sun…. Worse than the dust from a meteor”.
The final track is Krutitzuh Viertitzuh a Russian folk song about a woman who was seeing a lieutenant and switches her affections to an engineer.
